عمیرہ احمد کی اب تک کی لکھی جانے والی تمام تحاریر میں یہ واحد تحریر ہے جو مزاح پہ مبنی ہے اور ان کی انتہائی ابتدائی تحاریر میں سے ایک بھی ہے۔۔۔۔
یہ ناول “پاگل آنکھوں والی” ایک بیحد پرمزاح اور ہلکی پھلکی سی کہانی ہے۔ اسے ہلکے پھلکے انداز میں ہی پڑھا جائے کہ یہ ایک مکمل افسانوی تحریر ہے، جس میں مزاح کے عنصر کو بہت خوبصورتی کے ساتھ آخر تک نبھایا گیا ہے۔۔۔۔
کہانی ہے بی اے کی طلبہ “ثنا” کی، وہ دو چھوٹے بھائیوں کی اکلوتی بہن ہے اور اپنے والدین کی انتہائی پھوہڑ بیٹی ہے، جیسے گھر کے کام کاج سے رتی بھر بھی دلچسپی نہیں ہے۔ نت نئے شوق پالنا اسکا پسندیدہ مشغلہ ہے مگر اب اسے “لومیرج” کرنے کا شوق چڑھ آیا ہے، جو عجیب کے ساتھ ساتھ انتہائی خطرناک بھی ہے۔۔۔۔۔
کالج میں لان کے درخت تلے، اپنی چار دوستوں کے ساتھ مل بیٹھ کر وہ نیۓ آئیڈیاز کو سوچنے اور ان پہ عملدرآمد کرنے کی کوشش کرتی ہے مگر ہر بار خوش فہمی کا محل اپنی پوری تاب سے زمین بوس ہو جاتا ہے۔۔۔
چہروں پہ بے ساختہ ہنسی بکھیر دینے والا ایسا ناول، جس میں آپکو عمیرہ احمد کا مزاح لکھنے کا ایک بالکل منفرد انداز پڑھنے کو ملے گا۔۔۔
خوشگوار اختتام کے ساتھ ایک اچھوتی اور پرمزاح کہانی ہے۔
