اسماء قادری نے کم و بیش بیس سال قبل ادارہ خواتین سے اپنے تحریری سفر کا آغاز کیا۔ عام فہم، رومانوی اور ہلکے پھلکے سماجی موضوعات پر لکھی انکی تحاریر جلد ہی قارئین کے دلوں میں اپنی جگہ بنانے میں کامیاب ہو گئیں۔
اسما قادری کا شمار ان مصنفین میں ہوتا ہے جنہوں نے جب بھی قلم اٹھایا ہمیشہ شائستہ اور جامع لکھا۔ وہ اپنے موضوع اور کرداروں کے ساتھ مکمل انصاف کرتی ہیں۔
اسما قادری کے طویل سلسلے وار جاسوسی ناول گرداب اور شیش محل سمیت انکی 7 تصانیف شائع ہو چکی ہے۔
ناول “وقت کے فیصلے” کی بات کریں تو یہ ناول 2009 میں شعاع ڈائجسٹ میں شائع ہوا، تین اقساط پر مشتمل نو مسلم ہیروئین بیس ایک بہت خوبصورت تحریر ہے، جو اس وقت کے قارئین پر ایک مختلف انداز سے اثرانداز ہوئی۔ اس ناول کے بعد اسماء قادری کی کوئی تحریر خواتین ڈائجسٹ میں دکھائی نہیں دی تاہم وہ سسپنس اور جاسوسی میں لکھ کر اپنا خوب نام کما رہی ہیں۔
“وقت کے فیصلے” ناول میں دو جز بہت اہم ہیں۔ پہلا اسکی بنت اور دوسرا اسکے کردار۔ کہانی شاید عام سی محسوس ہو مگر ایثار اور صبر جیسے لازوال اوصاف کی اہمیت پر جس خوبصورتی سے اس ناول میں قلم آزمائی کی گئی ہے وہ قابل تحسین ہے۔ جب فیصلہ وقت پر چھوڑ دیا جائے تو وقت کی گردش میں ایسے لمحات بھی آتے ہی جب کمزور طاقتور اور طاقتور کمزور ہو جاتا ہے۔
ناول کا مرکزی کردار ربیکا ایک نو مسلم لڑکی ہے جو معیز نامی مسلم لڑکے کی محبت سے متاثر ہو کر اسلام قبول کرتی ہے۔ تمام تر مخالفت کے باوجود وہ دونوں جلد ہی شادی کر لیتے ہیں۔ ایسے حالات میں ہمارا معاشرہ کسی نومسلم خاتون کے ساتھ کیا سلوک کرتا ہے۔ یہاں مصنفہ نے ہمارے معاشرے کی تلخ حقیقت بیان کی ہے۔
دوسری جانب یہ کہانی ایک مصور کی ہے اسکی بےچین فطرت اور احساس گناہ اسے بھٹکانے ہوئے ہے۔ وہ سکون کی تلاش میں کبھی پہاڑوں کا رخ کرتا ہے تو کبھی حرم کا۔ اور پھر وہیں اسے ایک نئی سمت دکھائی دیتی ہے کہ وہ، ان لوگوں سے معافی مانگے جنکا اس نے دل دکھایا ہے۔
تیسرا کردار لائبہ کا ہے۔ جو ایک امیر باپ کی بیٹی ہے اور انکار جیسے لفظ سے ناآشنا ہے۔ باپ کا بےجا پیار اور جذبہ ایثار کی کمی اسے گھر چھوڑ دینے پر مجبور کر دیتی ہے۔
سارے ناول میں یہ تینوں کردار ایک دوسرے کی زندگیوں پر مثبت اور منفی طور پر اثرانداز ہوتے ہیں۔ انکا تعلق آپکو ناول پڑھنے پر معلوم ہو جائے گا۔ ناول میں سسپنس ہے۔ ماضی اور حال کے سفر میں قاری اور کرداروں کا ساتھ یقینی ہے۔۔
ناول میں بہت کچھ تبدیل کیا جا سکتا تھا جیسے معیز کی موت اور مرسلین کا مکافات عمل۔ مگر ناول کا اصل مقصد “ربیکا کا رابعہ” تک کا سفر اور اسکی مشکلات کو دکھانا تھا، ایسے میں اسکے صبر اور ایثار کو شاید مرسلین کی محبت اور احساس ندامت سے بہتر صلہ نہ ملتا۔۔
