وہ زرد پڑگئی تھی۔

اس نے بہت سفاک حقیقت اس کے سامنے لا کھڑی کی تھی۔
شہرگل کو لگا اس کی ٹانگیں اس کے وجود کا بوجھ سہارنے سے انکاری ہوں۔
“آپ کے اس طرح کہنے سے حقیقت بدل نہیں جائے گی۔میں آپکی منکوحہ ہوں۔آپ ایسا کیوں کہ رہے ہیں۔”
اس کی آواز کپکپانے لگی تھی۔
“تمہارے لیے تمہاری دوست زوباریہ کے بھائی کا پرپوزل آیا ہے۔میں چاہتا ہوں کہ اب تم اپنی زندگی کے متعلق سنجیدگی سے سوچو۔عامر نے تو مجھے بہت اطمینان دلایا ہے۔لیکن میں چاہتا ہوں کہ پہلے تم اپنا مائنڈ میک اپ کرلو اور آئندہ زندگی۔۔۔”
وہ کیا کہ رہا تھا۔
شہرگل کو لگا ایک دھمالے سے کمرے کی چھت اس کے سر پرآ گری ہو۔
اب جانے آنسوؤں کی چادر تھی یا اس کی آنکھوں کے آگے سفید سی دھند پھیلی،گم ہوتے حواس کے ساتھ بےاختیار ہاتھ آگے بڑھا کر کسی شے کا سہارہ تلاش کرنے کی کوشش میں ناکام ہوتی وہ لڑکھڑا کر نیچے گرگئی۔
“شہرگل۔۔۔!اوہ گاڈ۔۔۔”
حواس کھونے سے پہلے اس کی سماعتوں سے اویس کی گھبرائی ہوئی آواز ٹکرائی تھی۔

Novel Review:

This is a beautiful family story set in a traditional feudal system, focusing on forced marriage and the events following a nikah (marriage), written with mature content. It’s a must-read novel 👌

The heroine, Shaher Gul, lives in Hawaili  a place where it’s not customary for daughters to marry outside the family. If she doesn’t get a match from her relatives, she remains unmarried, growing older as a spinster. Her marriage is arranged with her uncle’s son, who is about to get engaged to someone else.

The heroine’s uncle, who lives in the city with his family, is educated and against the outdated customs of Hwaili. He forces his son, Awais Shah (the hero), to marry Shaher Gul in an emergency, bringing her along with him. The hero likes someone else, but after the marriage, the story develops with the hero’s character being very sweet, leading to a happy ending for the couple.

It’s a love story with a beautiful conclusion.
